The sunsets in Mexico are soft and beautiful. I wish we had this kind of lighting all the time here in Canada.

]]> http://lisakwanimages.com/vacay-to-cabos/feed/ 0 Fabric Galore http://lisakwanimages.com/fabric-galore/ http://lisakwanimages.com/fabric-galore/#comments Fri, 02 Dec 2011 01:38:47 +0000 lisakwan http://lisakwanimages.com/?p=2709 With the wedding season wrapping up at the end of next month I decided to dig out the quilt fabric I’ve collected throughout the year.  I thought I had about 3 or 4 groupings of fabric to make quilts out of but when I started digging through my drawers, I noticed that I don’t just have enough for 3 or 4 but enough fabric to make at least 10 quilts. That’s right, TEN. I guess you could say I hoard material but if something catches my eye or if a good sale is on, I’ll buy it. So when I pulled out my stash I got a real eye opener as to how much work was in front of me. A LOT. Not only did I have jelly rolls, fat quarters, and 1/2 yards of fabric, I’ve added a sewing project – making a set of curtains for our guest bedroom out of this awesome chevron material I bought on sale. Errrrr let’s see how that goes.

I am also trying to remember to take pictures of all of the quilts I’ve made so far. I will post some pictures of finished projects once I get some of these quilts done…then you can see everything as a whole.

But for now I thought I would take some pics to share with you what I have in store for myself. Wish me luck! And the search for quilt patterns begins…
