Meg + Corey • e-session

I met up with Meghan and Corey in Deer Ridge at the Pioneer Tower in Kitchener for their engagement session. In all the years I’ve lived in the KW area, I had never been there before – it was quite peaceful and serene. With the gloomy dark rain clouds out, we rushed out that morning crossing our fingers that the clouds would hold onto the rain just so we could get some shots. Lucky for us, the rain actually held off until later on that evening.

These two have such fun personalities and are so easy-going, which made the shoot a breeze. I can’t remember a moment where they weren’t laughing or smiling.

Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles!!!

This prop made me laugh. Totally suits these two! ;P

You two are hilarious and I can’t wait to shoot your wedding next year!

July 28, 2010 - 3:16 pm Adam - haha I want those monkey hats! Great shots, love the lighting in the gazebo.

July 28, 2010 - 10:16 am Wyatt - Hilarious pics! Nice job.

Susan + Kevin • e-session

I met up with Susan and Kevin in Oakville on a Saturday afternoon. I’m not familiar with Oakville at all but from what I saw that day, the city is beautiful. We started off their engagement session at the 5 drive-in theatre. We drove in and were overwhelmed with all the brightly coloured walls and doors in there. But our time in there was a limited since someone working there said that we were trespassing but allowed us about 20 minutes to take some shots. Thank you thank you whoever you are!

After that we headed over to an open park field to take some pictures with a balloon. Gotta love props in pictures. It adds a little more fun to your pics and shows a bit of your personality too. We then headed over to the waterfront, where we were practically walking in the backyards of these million dollar homes. It’s hard not to wonder what these homeowner professions are to be able to live in one of these homes. Wow. One day…if I hit the lottery…I would love to have a home that had a clear view of the lake *Sighhh*…

Thank you Susan and Kevin, you two are SUPER cute and you rocked it that day! Adam and I had so much fun that afternoon with you. I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in September!  Enjoy the pics everyone.

June 22, 2010 - 2:57 pm Susan - LISA!!! I LOVE ALL OF THESE PICTURES (can't wait to see the rest)! They turned out so well. A big thank you to both you and Adam for everything. Kevin and I couldn't be happier with the way the pictures turned out and we look forward to seeing you again at our wedding! ps. we've recieved approx. 50 comments from friends on Facebook about your photography style & shots ;) They love your pics as well!

June 21, 2010 - 1:36 am Wyatt - Awesome pics sister!

June 21, 2010 - 1:33 am Adam - Superb shots Lisa, always stunning seeing your work through your eyes! I am always down to be your slave to see the magic happen.

June 20, 2010 - 11:03 pm Paula - You have such a talent for making people feel so comfortable in front of the camera (when, really, it's not so comfortable) -- this shoot is a perfect example of that. They look very happy and in love! Can't wait to see the wedding pictures!

Shara + John • e-session

I met up with Shara and John on a cloudy, Saturday afternoon at Scarborough Bluffs. The weather didn’t damper their mood at all to have their pictures taken. How could it when the view there was spectacular. I had never been to the bluffs before but the view is spectacular. A lot of people were out having BBQ’s and just having a good ol’ time with the feeling of spring in the air.

Shara and John are also having their wedding nearby at the Bluffer’s Park Marina. Their ceremony and reception will be in the restaurant there where they will have  an all window, wall-to-wall view of the marina and lake…beautiful! I can’t wait to shoot their special day.

June 4, 2010 - 8:58 am Adam - Great shots Lisa, I love the shot with the willow tree...Killa!

June 2, 2010 - 9:34 am Wyatt - Awesome shot of the rocks sister!
