dr.dre and me

Music…could you live without it? I couldn’t. I have to have music playing in the background with everything that I’m doing. Whether it be hip hop, pop, trance, deep house or even some Josh Groban (yes people, I have a wide array of music in my itunes player).

I love when I can completely tune out what is going on around me, escape and take in what I’m listening to. I find I can work a lot better this way…ZONAGE turned ON. About 5+ years ago I had a pair of these huge black cupped earphones, and I brought them to the gym because they gave me a total surround sound workout. People would stare at me like I was some crazy DJ sweating away on an elliptical machine – meh, I didn’t care. I had such awesome workouts with them and then the dreadful day came when they broke and I could never find another pair that would do it justice. Nowadays these kind of earphones are everywhere, much smaller and compact.

Today Adam surprised me with some ear phones that I’ve had my eye on since they came out – Dr. Dre Monster ear phones. I love the look of them and would always try them on in the store if they had a ‘tester’ section. I’d always leave the store thinking “It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine”. So needless to say, I was in shock when he put the box in front of me while I was editing away on my computer. Talk about having a Wayne’s World wish come true! What can I say I’m a lucky girl. Not only was I ecstatic about the new diggs for my ears, but when I opened up the box I loved the way it was packaged, so clean, pristine and perfect. So I thought I would share some pics with you.

So now if could please excuse me I have a date with Dr. Dre.  Him and I are going on an ear-to-ear adventure into my music world, whether he likes Josh Groban or not. ;P

Cassie + Victor :: e-session

I think I’ve met two people that are Sanrio characters in real life. Cassie and Victor are so cute and so lovable that I wish I could shrink them and put them in my pocket.

Their engagement shoot location(s) were the places on their first date; starting with the Tennis courts, then getting ice cream and then a walk down by the Lakeshore.

Enjoy the pics everyone.

Then we had a little fun at the very end of the shoot.  :)

Griffith Family Portrait

Kaden, Acelyn and Colton have got to be some of the CUUUTEST kids I have ever laid eyes on.

I met up with them and their parents, Jarret and Michelle, in Waterloo for some family photos.

Enjoy the pics everyone!

Here is Kaden. Though quiet and shy, he was full of energy running around with curiousity.

Here is Acelyn. A beauty at 3 years old.

Here is Colton. The youngest with the personality of a “big kid”.

Here is Jarret and Michelle. Gorgeous parents with gorgeous kids.

Love these next two shots. Sibling love.

Beautiful family…seriously!

Michelle made Acelyn a tutu just for the shoot. I loved it!

So Acelyn and I snuck away at the end of the shoot for a mini tutu session.

She did this pose all by herself. No direction needed at all. There’s a ‘miss thang’ inside of her, I can feel it!

I didn’t know this, but the whole time I was taking pictures of her, she had little sweet tarts in her mouth…she surprised me with the shot below.

She is so cute I could eat her up!
