Caitlin + Sari • Wedding – Toronto, Ontario

On the drive to Caitlin’s home, the clouds were gathering with the odd drizzle here and there. But by the time we arrived to her home, it started to pour like crazy. We crossed our fingers hoping that it would stop because Caitlin and Sari’s wedding was to take place outdoors at the beautiful Eaton Hall. But the rain won that day and the ceremony was held indoors. The rain held off for a little while in the afternoon, just enough time for some outdoor portraits. Caitlin and Sari kept their spirits up since they surrounded by loving family and friends the entire day. Not only that, this was their first marriage ceremony they had planned. The next day they would be leaving for Lebanon for their second ceremony! How fun would that be?! I could only imagine what that wedding ceremony and celebration would be like. I was hoping that they would mistakenly put me in their suitcase so I could see it for myself. Must put Lebanon on my list of places to visit in the future.  ;)

I hope you both had a wonderful time overseas and I wish you both all the best. Thank you for letting me capture your ceremonies here in Canada! Enjoy the pics everyone.

(You may recognize one of the bridesmaids and groomsmen in the pictures, Ariana and Neil, they were a 2010 bride and groom.)

Mary + Matt • Wedding – Toronto, Ontario

Matt and Mary’s wedding day was a rainy one…crazy rain…like, non-stop rain. But they didn’t let it bother them at all. Days prior, Mary said that she didn’t care about the rain and would still go outside to have their “first look” pics taken (talk about not letting mother nature get in a Bride’s way). Luckily the rain ended briefly when Matt showed up for the reveal. So magical. I love first looks because it gives the bride and groom that special moment with one another before the hustle and bustle of the rest of the day.

After the reveal, we went to the Evergreen Brick Works. The light was perfect in the Holcim Gallery. This part of the Brick Works had old architectural tunnel kilns and drying tunnels. Sighh…ahhhh-mazingly rustic. After we snapped ’til we could snap no more, the Capitol Event Theatre was our next destination for their ceremony and reception. This venue is so grand with a modern/vintage feel to it – a perfect fit for Mary and Matt.

Thank you both for letting me capture your special day. You were amazing models without a complaint about the weather at all. I wish you both all the best. Enjoy the pics everyone!
