Zen Marley

Once again I’ve been a bad blogger. It’s been pretty crazy busy these days for me but I’m finally getting a chance to catch up!

It hasn’t been a week since we were in Jamaica and I miss it already. Although rainy there, the weather itself was so warm with the odd break of hot sun. You can tell that the cold weather is fast approaching here in Canada especially today with the winds and cold temps…sighhh…

To warm up, I’m going to share a couple of pictures of Zen with you when we were in Montego Bay. It was his first big trip and it was a success! It’s true when they say newborns are the easiest to travel with so I’m sure Adam and I will be taking advantage of this and traveling more often with Zen in tow.  :)

Here is “Zen Marley” just chillin’ on da beach mon…

Jill + Todd • e-session

I met up with Jill and Todd downtown Toronto on a scorcher of a day. I was almost eight months pregnant and the temperature was 35 degrees out. But once I started shooting I forgot about the temperature ’cause Jill and Todd completely rocked out the session. We first started out at a hidden park close by Jill’s apartment. (On a side note, I have to add that Jill’s dress was something I was in awe of. So vintage, so awesome.). Then after a quick wardrobe change and hydration pit-stop, we headed to Queen Street to take some pictures as we strolled the streets. We ended our session at  Drake Scoops + Tees for a cool refreshing treat and some fun with the outdoor sign.

Can’t wait to meet up with you guys again this November on your special day.

Hair and make-up by the talented Ivy Lam.

Iva + Bernard • e-session

Toronto Island…a place I remember going to with my older cousins – such great memories. So when Iva contacted me and told me Toronto Island is where she would like to have her engagement pictures done I was excited. Then when she told me about all of her props that she was thinking about bringing along, I got even more excited!!! Gotta love props to add even more fun and personality to your pictures.

The day started off with huge line ups at the ferry dock,so many people all packed with picnic baskets and kids in hand to go to Centre Island. Once we arrived we set out to find some secluded areas for our intimate shoot. As you can see below we had a lot of fun with different locations and props Iva and Bernard wanted to bring.

Thanks for letting me share that afternoon with you guys…can’t wait to shoot your wedding next summer! Whoop, whoop!
